THE ARTIST GALLERY is a monthly profile featuring artists whose work, philosophy and personality speak to me and I hope to you too.

I believe that meeting an artist while looking at their artwork is a unique, important connection that adds much to the enjoyment of a piece. You’ll get to meet the artists here through studio photos, personal profiles, audio clips and, of course, the art itself.

Demystifying art lingo. Giving artists a well-deserved shout out. Providing answers to common questions: I saw a piece I love, but I’m afraid I don’t have room for it. Where can I hang it? Can I make it work with my space?

It’s my hope that The Artist Gallery and More on Art become a go-to resource that feeds and fuels your love of art.

The work of featured artists is available for purchase so if something sparks your interest I will happily connect you with the artist virtually or personally.

The pieces I’ve bought over the past 20 years still make me smile, partly because I’ve made a point of meeting the artists who created the work. Also, because buying original art has a magical effect on me and I know I’m not alone in this: everyone I talk to agrees it makes us happy, breathe a bit deeper and creates more joy in our surroundings.
