This black clay vase was love at first sight. It doesn’t matter that it’s not water tight. A large clear vase of water sits snuggly inside. The benefit is twofold: no leaking water and it nicely holds these lilac beauties in place.
It’s full on SPRING here in Vancouver and I’m up to my old tricks. These lovely lilacs were harvested from a neglected shrub on a soon to be torn down property a block from our home.
Four years ago we lost our beloved black lab, Miss Kate. She was 14.
I love setting a table. Its a private moment before friends arrive. And it’s a little bit like cooking a fine meal. It shows care.
